Egypt's defense minister, US senator discuss bilateral ties

Egypt's Minister of Defense General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held Thursday a meeting with member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Robert Casey on bilateral ties. The meeting took up means of boosting military cooperation along with issues of mutual concern. Present at the meeting were a host of Egyptian Armed Forces commanders and the US ambassador in Cairo Anne Patterson. Casey arrived here earlier in the day for a two-day visit.
