El Araby meets new Syria envoy Ibrahimi

Arab League's Secretary General Nabil El Araby met Monday with Joint Arab League and UN Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Ibrahimi. Ibrahimi arrived in Cairo yesterday, Sunday. They discussed Ibrahimi's new role and how it can be developed based on the discussions he held with members of the UN Security Council. Ibrahimi is also set to meet with Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and Egypt's Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amro. He will also meet with a number of opposition figures in Syria.
