
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday expressed greetings and appreciation to the brotherly Arab states and friendly states for their honorable stand on side of the State of Kuwait and its people when the country was under the flagrant occupation. Addressing the citizens and residents of Kuwait on the 53rd anniversary of the National Day and the 23rd anniversary of the Liberation Day, the Emir of Kuwait also praised their support for Kuwait’s just causes, their effective contributions with their forces in the battle for liberation where blood of their citizens mingled with that of the natives of Kuwait till victory and liberation were achieved. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah called for expressing gratitude to His Almighty’s bounties, namely the bounty of liberation, liberating the dear homeland and restoring its pride, security and safety. “Such heavenly endowments must be met with gratification, obedience to His Almighty, sincere loyalty to the dear homeland and placing all resources at the disposal of developing Kuwait,” the Emir of Kuwait said. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad remembered with pride Kuwait’s martyrs, the POWs and the missing who had sacrificed their noble souls and pure blood in defense of soil of the precious homeland.
