
The Emir of Kuwait, H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, left the country today to lead the Kuwaiti delegation at the World Humanitarian Summit which begins tomorrow in Istanbul, Turkey.
Turkey is hosting this ground-breaking summit which will address humanitarian problems and will bring world leaders together to agree on a package of practical steps ahead.
The summit, spearheaded by UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, and organised by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, UNOCHA, is aimed at discussing humanitarian issues in detail.
