HH the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani arrived in Tirana on Tuesday afternoon for a two-day state visit to Albania . HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival Mother Teresa International Airport, by Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinas , the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Aleksander Flloko ,Qatar''s ambassador to Albania HE Sultan bin Saad Al-Mreikhai , a number of senior officials and the Albanian ambassador to Qatar HE Ridi Kurtezi. HH the Emir was accompanied during the visit by HE Deputy Premier and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah and a high ranking official delegation . Immediately after the arrival , HH the Emir proceeded to the Presidential Palace where a red-carpet welcome ceremonies were accorded to him . HH the Emir and the accompanying official delegation were welcomed upon arrival at the Presidential palace by President of the Republic of Albania HE Bamir Topi. A number of Their Excellencies the Albanian ministers and military and civilian senior officials were also on hand to welcome HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation.
