The United Arab Emirates's foreign minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will go on an official visit to Algeria on Wednesday in response to his Algerian counterpart's visit, Mourad Medelci, to the UAE, said Algerian foreign ministry spokesperson Amar Belani on Tuesday. According to the same source the visit, which came ahead of the tenth session of the Algerian-United Arab Emirates Joint Commission, will include the evaluation of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and how to increase cooperation in several fields. According to Belani the visit is considered as "an opportunity for exchanging views and coordinating the relevant issues to Arab status quo in addition to the regional and international issues of common interest".
