
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, Empower, the world’s largest district cooling services provider, is participating at the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, ASHRAE, Winter Conference and AHR Expo, being held in Las Vegas, USA.
A senior delegation, headed by Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, will exchange expertise with international participants in district cooling services field. They will also exchange expertise and learn from others in the field of advanced energy and water management systems.
ASHRAE is the biggest global gathering of cooling services providers, aimed at uniting all stakeholders and encouraging sharing the ideas and technological systems in the cooling sector.
Commenting on Empower’s participation, Bin Shafar said, "In line with the directives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to make Dubai an innovation hub, and from the standpoint of Empower being the world leader in the district cooling field, we are adopting the latest technologies and the best energy systems installed worldwide.
"We have a lot of international activities in several environment related projects all over the world and with the United Nations, as well in many developing countries."
Over 200 international experts specialised in cooling field and energy management are attending the conference.
