Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday strongly criticized the double-standard policies of United Nations in imposing sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Turkish premier made the remarks in a meeting with members of Justice and Development Party's (AKP) on Wednesday. When the Islamic Republic of Iran speaks about its peaceful nuclear energy, the western countries impose economic sanctions against the country but they keep mum on inhuman behavior of other countries, he said. Addressing the western countries, he said 'In Somalia you have adopted double-standard policies and the same policies were used in connection with north and south Sudan where you have imposed sanctions. 'You keep silence on current events as well as widespread famine in Somalia but in dealing with the issue of the Zionist regime and Palestine you ignore to implement 89 ratifications against the regime,' underlined the Turkish premier. Western cannot resolve global developments unless they respect human conscience through administration of justice, he said.
