Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his US Counterpart Donald Trump agreed that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is responsible for his actions.
US President on Monday congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a telephone call following a "Yes" win on a constitutional referendum, the Turkish Presidency's press office said.
The two leaders also discussed the Syrian regime's chemical attack on April 4 in Khan Shaykhun in Idlib province. Trump thanked Erdogan for supporting US in this regard.
Both leaders stressed the need for cooperation on the fight against terror groups, including ISIS.
Syrian regime's chemical attack on April 4 in Syria's Idlib province killed more than 100 civilians and injured 500 others.
