Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Dessalines will begin on Wednesday a two-day official visit to Sudan. A high-level Sudanese source said in remarks to (Alray Alaam) newspaper published today that the Ethiopian Prime Minister will hold talks during the visit with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on bilateral relations and ways of developing them in addition to issues of common concern. The two sides will also discuss coordination in regional and international forums and the situation in the Horn of Africa and the African continent as well as relations between Khartoum and Juba and the Ethiopian supporting role for regional peace and stability. The source also confirmed that the visit has profound implications in terms of the two countries' agreement to develop plans for strategic relations and mutual benefits and to transform the borders to safe areas.
