Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi will make a formal visit to South Korea next week, the South Korean presidential office said on Wednesday. During his four-day stay from Monday, Meles will hold a summit with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak for discussions on bilateral economic and trade cooperation and situations on the Korean Peninsula, South Korea''s News Agency (Yonhap) reported. The visit comes after Lee, while on a visit to the African country in July, requested Meles'' presence at the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, an international conference slated for Nov. 29-Dec. 1, in the southern port city of Busan. The Ethiopian leader is scheduled to attend the meeting on Wednesday. In Seoul, Meles will also attend an explanation meeting to draw more South Korean investment into the African nation and a luncheon meeting with major economic organizations. (QNA) RMA/AMA
