Commander of the European Union's Peacekeeping Force in Bosnia (EUFOR) Maj. Gen. Bernhard Bair Friday hailed the role of Kuwaiti embassy in social and cultural activities.Maj. Gen Bair told KUNA, following a meeting with Kuwaiti ambassador to Bosnia Mohammad Fadhel Khalaf, that the Kuwaiti embassy cotibuted to achieving peaceful coexistence among the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an effort that furthered stability.Kuwaiti diplomats have also participated in some cultural and sports events that helped to understand the cultural and ethnic diversity of the nation, he said.Maj. Gen. Bair expressed appreciation for the assistance provided by the Kuwaiti embassy for some humanitarian activities, organized by European troops to help the victims of war and prepare them for integration into the civil society.
