The working group of EU Foreign Relations Counsellors has completed the legislative work on the listing of the military wing of Hezbollah as a terrorist group and the legislation is expected to come into force in the coming days, according to an EU spokesman. Vykintas Puaciaskus, a spokesman for the current Lithuanian EU Presidency, told Kuwait news agency (KUNA) today that "all the other procedures now have to be completed and adopted and come into force." The legislation will be published in the EUs Official Journal on Friday, he added. The working group of the EU Foreign Relations Counsellors is chaired by the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU. On Monday, EU foreign ministers agreed to list the military wing of Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation but did not release any details on the reason for blacklisting the group.
