President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that expansion of relations between Qatar and Iran help promote understanding among countries of the region and prevent meddling of aliens in regional affairs. According to the Presidential website, President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with visiting Qatari Foreign Minister Adviser Khalid Mohammad al-Atiyeh in Tehran on Thursday.
