
Chairman of Exports Council of Building Materials (ECBM) Walid Gamaleldin said that the council will organize promotion missions to increase Egyptian exports to African markets including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
Gamaleldin asserted the importance of an initiative of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to organize an investment forum in Africa in 2016, adding that the event will turn into an annual forum held in Sharm el Sheikh to boost economic cooperation between Egypt and African states in the commercial and investment sectors.
The first mission to be sent to Africa will include 30 companies of the council’s members.
Executive Director of the council Hanan Ismail said that the number of Egyptian companies participating in a promotion mission to Lebanon increased to 40 companies, adding that the mission will start on February 29 to discuss increasing transactions with the Lebanese businessmen and holding partnerships
