
Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi met Tuesday Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Rima Khalaf. During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation between Egypt and ESCWA and exchange of expertise in the economic reform policies. The Foreign Ministry's spokesperson said Fahmi and Khalaf also discussed cooperation between the two sides to the benefit of the Egyptian economy and the small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as support for the economic reform in Egypt. Meantime, the minister received today the Iranian charge d'affaires. The meeting dwelt on the bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
