The Palestinian mainstream Fatah movement said on Thursday it will partake in a Hamas ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of the Islamic movement's founding due here on Saturday. Fatah's commissioner in Gaza Yehia Rebbah said: "We have received an official invitation from Hamas to attend the 25th anniversary of its founding. We have told them that we will be attending the event." He said a large Fatah delegation will be participating in the festival in Gaza. The good gesture by Fatah will favorably reflect on ongoing efforts to achieve inter-Palestinian reconciliation.
