Lawyer Anatoly Kucherena has arrived at the Sheremetyevo airport, presumably with a certificate of the Federal Migration Service (FMS), which enables former CIA employee Edward Snowden to stay in Russia for the period of time his bid for temporary asylum is being considered. According to a source, Edward Snowden has already received the document from the human rights advocate. However, there has been no confirmation of this from official sources. Kucherena arrived at 16:30 Moscow time at the Sheremetyevo airport and went to the transit zone through the service entrance, Itar-Tass reported. The lawyer did not respond to the numerous questions from journalists that gathered today in the morning at Sheremetyevo. He promised to give all comments after meeting with Snowden. The lawyer left unanswered the question, whether former CIA officer will come out whith him from the transit zone. Previously, law enforcement sources said that FMS has no information that there is a certificate issued allowing Edward Snowden to stay in Russia. Lawyer Anatoly Kucherena didn't rule out that Snowden may leave the transit area of ??the airport Sheremetyevo July 24, as this day is deadline for the review of documents submitted by Snowden a week ago to the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation. It's about getting a certificate that grants him the right to stay in Russia, while an application for a temporary shelter is being considered.
