Final preparations for the first meeting of the Egyptian-Kenyan business council are underway.
Chairman of the Egyptian side at the council Hossam Farid held a meeting with the Kenyan ambassador to Egypt to review the final arrangements.
An Egyptian team will travel to Kenya from February 12 to 17 to attend the meeting.
In a statement on Tuesday, Farid said Trade Minister Tarek Kabil will attend the council meeting alongside the Kenyan ministers of industry, electricity and agriculture.
The statement said 70 Egyptian companies will take part in the event.
Tete-a-tete talks will be held on the fringe of the council meeting to boost joint trade.
