Fire engulfs an Islamic centre in north London

An Islamic centre being used as a mosque in Muswell Hill, north London, was destroyed by fire and London Police are investigating whether the fire was caused by a deliberate, racially motivated act. Scotland Yard said: "The cause of the fire erupted early morning Wednesday is currently under investigation and is being treated as suspicious at this stage." The Fire fighter were able to extinguish the fire after 90 minutes, said police official. London Police evacuated two neighboring buildings and said there were no casualties.
