Fire on Adalar-Bostanci boat put out

The fire, which broke out on a boat off Istanbul, was put out by the efforts of Fire Department after the boat was pulled near Bostanci pier. Earlier in the day, a fire broke out in the engine room of a boat, belonging to Mavi Marmara Cooperative, while it was holding its regular voyage between Bostanci and Adalar districts of Istanbul. Nearly 100 passengers aboard the boat had been evacuated, and some of them were taken to hospitals as they inhaled heavy smoke. Fire Department teams put out the fire which broke out in the boat's engine room due to an unknown reason.
