First results of International Army Games to be drawn on Tuesday

Intermediate results of the International Army Games 2015 will be drawn on Tuesday at the press center of the Games on the Alabino drill range to the southwest of Moscow, the press and information department of the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"On Tuesday, August 4, the main referee of the International Army Games, Major General Dmitry Gorbatenko will hold a briefing for reporters covering the Games at the press center in Alabino," the report said. "He will inform them on the intermediate results, the competitions that have been held, the terms of contests, and will answer questions.

The reporters will also have an opportunity to get the latest news from judges and team leaders at the competitions in Dagestan (‘The Caspian Derby’) and in Ryazan region (‘The Airborne Platoon’). This will be done by videoconferencing.

The Defense Ministry has set up press centers at all the testing ranges where competitions are underway. They are fitted out with videoconferencing equipment, other office technologies and visual displays for receiving TV signals.

"These Army Games are covered by an unprecedented number of reporters - more than 1,500 - who represent more than 200 mass media outlets," the press and information department recalled.
