Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi stressed Iran's support for a political solution to the Syrian crisis, but meantime, underlined that Tehran will not allow any foreign side to impose a solution to the crisis, FARS News Agency reported on Wednesday. "As we have announced, this crisis should be resolved through a Syrian-Syrian solution and the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow a foreign solution to be imposed to end the Syrian crisis," Salehi told reporters at the end of a cabinet meeting here in Tehran on Wednesday. He said that Iran is pursuing its 6-point plant to settle the crisis in Syria, adding that he will have a meeting with foreign ambassadors to Tehran today to discuss the issue. Iranian officials have recently called on political leaders and religious figures in the region to support Tehran's 6-point plan to settle the crisis in Syria.
