
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted on Sunday the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and the US.
In statements to the Egyptian TV station, Shoukry said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to the US will focus on the economic field in order to enhance the Egyptian economy to be able to meet Egyptians’ aspirations.
He added that the president will meet with a number of decision makers in the US administration and research centers, adding that the president will also give a speech at the US Chamber of Commerce.
The visit is expected to contribute to supporting the Egyptian economy and its reform program via increasing direct investments and giving Egypt the opportunity to interact more with the international development organizations.
