
Foreign Minister of New Zealand Murray McCully has visited Wahat Al Karama memorial site in Abu Dhabi.
He was received upon his arrival by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of The Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office, MFAO, at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
The New Zealand Foreign Minister inspected the Guard of Honour and laid a wreath at The Memorial. He later visited the Pavilion of Honour and the Memorial Plaza.
Signing the visitor guest-book, he left a message of gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices of the UAE’s brave heroes. Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun emphasised that the UAE has established Wahat Al Karama to express appreciation and gratitude to the sacrifices of the martyrs who contributed to its pride.
