France on Wednesday denounced an attack by suspected Boko Haram militants which left several victims in Cameroon's northern border.
"France condemns the terrorist attacks which happened on August 4. The perpetrators must not go unpunished," the country's foreign ministry said.
Paris also sent condolences to the families' victims and reiterated its solidarity with Cameroonian authorities to combat terrorism in the region.
On Tuesday, at least eight people were killed and about 100 others were kidnapped by suspected Boko Haram militants attack in a village, north Cameroon.
