France congratulated Ennahdha Movement and all representatives elected on October 23 to the National Constituent Assembly (NCA), following Monday's proclamation of the final results. In a statement reported by AFP news agency, the French Foreign Ministry's spokesman Bernard Valero extended, on Tuesday, "his country's congratulations to Ennahdha party, winner of the election, and to all representatives who won their seats in this first democratic and free elections held in the region, since the beginning of the Arab Spring."
