Turkish public servants freed by terrorist organization PKK have entered Turkey via the Habur Border Gate and met with their families on Wednesday. Sergeant Abdullah Sopceler and Specialized Sergeant Zihni Koc who were kidnapped on the Diyarbakir-Lice highway met their families after 640 days whereas it took 613 days for Privates Resat Cecan, Hadi Gizli and Ramazan Basaran, 607 days for Disctict governor candidate Kenan Erenoglu, 579 days for Police officer Nadir Ozgen and 579 days for Police officer Kemal Ekinci to meet their families. Three of the Turkish public servants freed by terrorist organization PKK on Wednesday were sent to Ankara and one other to Istanbul in separate airplanes while four others went to Sanliurfa, Mardin and Gaziantep provinces by road. All of the public servants and their family members had arrived at the Diyarbakir Airport after being taken from the Habur Border Gate by three separate helicopters. A delegation sent from Turkey to the north of Iraq had brought back the group of civil servants. Anadolu Agency witnessed the emotional moments of the civil servants when they re-united with their families and welcomed at their hometown. Turkey's premier called freed Turkish public servants and expressed his pleasure with their family reunion ISTANBUL Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called freed Turkish public servants and expressed his pleasure with their family reunion. Resting in his house in Istanbul, Erdogan called eight public servants separately. Erdogan talked to them and their family members on the phone and expressed his pleasure with their family reunion.
