
French Ambassador in Amman David Bertolotti, and some members of his family were injured in a car crash while they were on their way to Aqaba.
The French embassy said the ambassador and his family are currently “undergoing medical tests and that they were not in danger”. The embassy thanked Jordanian authorities for their cooperation and professionalism.
Sabah al-Rafe’i, a spokeswomen for the ministry of foreign, told Petra that the ambassador and his family were rushed to the Prince Hashim Military Hospital in Aqaba and they are now in stable condition.
