French President Fran ois Hollande on Tuesday met visiting Egypt’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr who said following the meeting that his talks with Hollande were ‘extremely fruitful’ noting that the French President is deeply interested to know about the innter conditions in egypt and the political developments there.During the meeting Amr stressed Egypt’s due keenness to protect and keep intact the french investments in Egypt as well those of the other countries inside egypt.The talks also featured the political developments in Egypt and the transitional stage leading to parliamentary elections. A host of other regional issues of mutual concern was also taken up with the Syrian crisis to the fore, Amr told reporters .The Egyptian FM meantime underlined that there is bilateral agreement that it was difficult for Syrian President Bashar Al Assad to have a place in new syria or syria the future.The visit came in the framework of “close” relations binding both countries, Amr told MENA correspondent here upon his arrival to the French capital earlier Monday for a three-day visit.Amr said his talks in Paris will address a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern, mainly the latest developments in Syria and the Palestinian cause.Cairo and Paris share similar views on the Syrian crisis, Amr said and hailed ties between the two countries in all fields, noting that the volume of two-way trade increased during the past year.As for the peace process in the Middle East, Amr said France has a significant role in supporting the Palestinian cause
