French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe spoke over the phone today with Leader of Al-Nahdha IIslamic Party Rashid Ghannouchi which won the recent elections in Tunisia to convey him a "message of confidence without prejudgments or trial of intent", a source close to the French Foreign Affairs said. The source said during the contact the French minister congratulated the leader of the Islamic Party to on the victory he achieved. The French Foreign Minister told radio "Europe 1" on Sunday that he wanted "to trust" officials of the Islamic Al-Nahdha Party. Al-Nahdha Party won 91 seats in seats in a 217-member constituent assembly meant to write a new constitution.
