A delegation of French Senators, led by Senator Philip Marini who was accompanied by the Bahraini Ambassador in France, Dr. Nasser Al Belooshi, visited the King Hamad University Hospital here today and viewed the standard of medical services provided to citizens and residents in addition to discussion of aspects of bilateral cooperation in medical fields and health services. The KHUH's management briefed the French Senators on technologies used in the hospital. The delegation conducted a tour throughout the hospital's various departments, wards and medical facilities. During the meeting, a number of topics linked to technical specifications for the construction project of the National Oncology Center slated to be constructed in the KHUH and drawing blueprint for cooperation on training of medical staffs at the Gustaf Roset Center in France as part of mutual training to benefit from world-class international expertise in this field. French Senator, Philip Marini and his accompanying delegation praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's efforts in supplying the KHUH with advanced modern medical equipment to satisfy the needs of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain up to international standards and they also expressed their admiration towards the modern equipment and appreciation towards the medical services provided by the hospital free of charge to citizens and residents. Finally, the delegation thanked the BDF and the KHUH for their efforts in managing and operating this advanced medical edifice.
