Fujairah signs twining agreement with Slovenian capital Ljubljana

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today attended the signing ceremony of a town twining agreement between Fujairah City and the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, at Al Ramaila Palace. The Director-General of Fujairah Municipality, Saif Al Afkham, and the Mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Jankovic, sealed the agreement which aims to promote bilateral ties of friendship in various areas, including economy, culture, education, tourism, arts and sports. It also provides for joint cooperation in scientific research and cultural exchange. The agreement followed directives from the Ruler of Fujairah within the framework of the U.A.E. strategy to make the U.A.E. in general and Fujairah in particular a meeting point for cultures and nations.
