Gaza court sentences man to death for spying for Israel

Gaza's military court sentenced a man to death for collaborating with Israel. The court handed down a life sentence to another man for the same charge. Early May, the same court sentenced to death a Palestinian man for spying for Israel. On April 11, the Hamas Interior Ministry announced the end of a month-long campaign that called for collaborators with Israel to turn themselves in to the authorities in exchange for amnesty. Hamas has boasted of its success in persuading purported collaborators with Israel to admit their crime and repent during the campaign.
