Gaza teen drowns off coast

A 15-year-old drowned off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Friday, the Health Ministry said. The body of Raed Asfour, 15, from Khan Younis was taken to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said. Also Friday, the body of a Palestinian from Jenin in the northern West Bank was found on a beach in Netanya in northern Israel. The man, in his 20s, had drowned and medics could not revive him, said Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri. Police are investigating the death, al-Samri told Ma'an.
