The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministerial meeting will be held Sunday, June 2, to discuss an array of regional and international issues. The 127th edition of the ministerial meeting will be chaired by Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa and co-chaired by the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al-Zayani. In a press release, Al-Zayani stressed that the upcoming meeting is particularly important due to the current changes seen in the region which require a clear stance from the Gulf States. It will also tackle strategic dialogue, economic issues and other regional, Arab and international matters. The meeting will also follow up on the progress of the GCC joint work in its various aspects. The ministers will hold a meeting with GCC financial and economic counterparts ahead of their conference.
