Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulatif al-Zayani left Sana’a on Monday after a short visit to the country, during which he participated in the opening of the National Dialogue Conference that kicked off on Monday. President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi opened the Dialogue Conference, which is held under the slogan “By dialogue, we make future”. It has brought together about 565 representatives of political parties, southern movement, Houthis, youths, women, independents and civil society organizations, according to SABA news agency. The dialogue, expected to run over the course of six months, will discuss critical issues of the South and Sa’ada governorate in addition to the national reconciliation, transitional justice, the state-building, new constitution and others.
