
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullatif Al-Zayani on Thursday congratulated Yemeni President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi on the signing of an agreement that ensures a just solution to the dispute with south Yemen. In a phone conversation with President Hadi, Al-Zayan lauded the efforts exerted by both sides within the framework of the national dialogue initiative to reach this historic agreement which paves the way for restoring stability of the Arab country and meeting the aspiration of its people. For his part, the Yemeni President thanked the GCC Secretary General Al-Zayani and all GCC member states for their unlimited support to Yemen in this critical stage. He pointed out that the national dialogue is about complete and have managed to achieve its objectives to overcome past challenges and open a new chapter in Yemeni history.
