GCC information ministers to meet in Riyadh Tuesday

The GCC Information Ministers will hold their 20th meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday to discuss ways of cooperation and coordination among the GCC countries in the field of media. HE Executive President of Qatar Media Corporation Mubarak bin Jaham al-Kuwari is heading Qatar's delegation to the meeting. Discussions during the meeting will cover aspects of joint media cooperation between the GCC countries and coordination in all audio-visual, print, radio and television media services. Prior to the meeting, the GCC Information Ministers will lay the foundation stone for the Gulf Radio and TV Organization new building in the diplomatic area in Riyadh. On Sunday, the Undersecretaries of the GCC Information Ministries concluded their preparatory meeting with a number of recommendations that would enhance and promote the GCC joint media work in preparation to be raised to the upcoming meeting of the GCC information Ministers for approval.
