GCC information undersecretaries hold preparatory meeting

GCC Undersecretaries of the Information Ministries hold on Saturday a preparatory meeting for the 19th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States’ Ministers of Information, due to start here tomorrow. The meeting will discuss joint information work, especially those related to media in the GCC countries and implementing the media strategy which was approved by the GCC leaders during their summit held in Riyadh in May. It will also review the recommendations of the Media Committee in radio, TV, foreign media and news agencies as well as translating those recommendations into practical programmes and projects.
