GCC supreme Council allows prosecutors' transfer among Gulf countries

The GCC Supreme Council decided Wednesday to allow transfer of public prosecutors and investigators among relevant government bodies of the six GCC countries. In a final communique of the 34th GCC summit, the leaders assigned ministerial committees to review laws and regulations which were previously approved and amended it, including setting up deadlines in transforming national laws. The Council also approved the unification of judicial law system of the GCC countries, naming the law the Manama doctrine for unification of common jurisdictions of the GCC countries. The council also assigned the consultative authority to study the unified tourism visas for third countries, human development, and evaluation of GCC march throughout history. The council also stressed importance on strengthening the role of financial regulatory authorities, and collection in GCC countries and enable them to thrive with its responsibilities independently and objectively
