Leader of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea said on Thursday that his party aims to achieve a fair and equitable electoral law, representing all Lebanese parties. "The electoral law is a vital part of the system since the bills issued after the year 1990 were made to fit the regime of Syrian tutelage," he said during the visit of a delegation from Ftouh - Kesserwan. Geagea assured that "discussions with allies continue for a fair electoral law. Many parties are not reassured by the 1960's Act. Proposal of the Orthodox Meeting received the majority of votes, but some have objected. We will continue discussions with a view to reaching a consensual act. " He highlighted the irresponsibility of the government "with regard to the economic situation."
