New Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will visit the European Union and NATO headquarters in Brussels next week. The planned visit between Monday and Wednesday was announced by Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze on Friday. Ivanishvili's entourage to Brussels will include the foreign minister, Defense Minister Irakli Alasania and State Minister in charge of Euro-Atlantic Integration Alexi Petriashvili. While in Brussels, the Georgian prime minister will meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. In another development, the NATO military committee has postponed a scheduled visit to Tbilisi. But Foreign Minister Panjikidze did not elaborate.
