
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received ambassador Alfred Simms-Protz who presented to the minister a copy of his credentials as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The minister reviewed with the newly-appointed German Ambassador the progress of ties between Bahrain and Germany, expressing his hopes in their further development in various fields.
He wished the ambassador success in his new duties, affirming all support to promote bilateral relations towards wider horizons at all levels in line with the aspirations of the two countries and peoples.
The ambassador expressed his country’s keenness to develop relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, pledging to exert all efforts towards the progress of ties in various fields for the benefit of both countries.
The meeting also discussed several issues of mutual interest.
