Co-chair of the German Green Party ClaudiaRoth said she found peace process positive and is ready to contribute to this process. After her meetings in northern Iraq, Roth crossed the Habur Border Gate and visited Cizre town in Turkey. In Cizre, Roth was welcomed by the member of the assembly of the municipality Hanim Onur and Sirnak Bar Association's lawyer Sertac Ozkan. Roth, who answered questions by journalists, said both sides will benefit from the peace process in Turkey and offered help for this process. "As a friend of Turks and Kurds, I hope that this is the beginning of peace", Roth said and that she hopes that a constitution which granted stability and democracy guaranteeing rights came out.
