
The German government is willing to move faster in promoting its partnership with Morocco and to encourage investment in the north African kingdom, a visiting senior German official said here on Tuesday.
Sigmar Gabriel, vice chancellor and minister of economy and energy, made the remarks during his talks with head of Moroccan government Abdelilah Benkirane.
The minister said energy, education and vocational training represent priority areas of cooperation between the two countries, according to an official statement issued by the Moroccan government.
He also said that Morocco offers important investment and trade opportunities as well as broad prospects for partnership in various areas.
Their talks also focused on several issues of mutual interest, according to the same source.
