A girl, who was brought to Moscow after a major road accident in Belgium, is in heavy condition. She was brought to the Russian children’s hospital, the press service of the Russian Health Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. “The patient is in heavy condition, necessary examinations were made, a surgery is planned soon,” the press service said. Other seven injured people, which received the medical aid from the doctors of the all-Russia centre of emergency medicine Zashchita, were airlifted in Volgograd and were hospitalized. On Monday, another 14 people wounded in the road accident in Belgium were taken to the Volgograd hospitals. Four injured people, including an adult in heavy condition in the intensive therapy ward, three children in moderately severe condition closer to satisfactory condition were undergoing treatment at the first regional hospital. Three people, including two adults in heavy condition in the intensive therapy ward and a child in satisfactory condition in the traumatologic ward are undergoing treatment at the city hospital number 25, the ministry reported. Early in the morning on April 14, a major road accident occurred ten kilometres away from Antwerp. The bus, which was carrying 31 schoolchildren aged from 12 to 17 years from the Volgograd Region and nine accompanying adults, rammed in the barrier of the highway, skidded off the road and overturned. Five people, three of them, including a teenager, are Russian citizens, another two people are the drivers with the Polish citizenship died in the road accident. As many as 19 people have got different wounds, 13 of them have got light injuries.
