Governor of the Capital Governorate Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa emphasized support and boosting of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and sisterly and friendly countries in compliance with the directives of the wise leadership, highlighting significance of boosting the Kingdom of Bahrain's status in these countries in the various fields.This statement was made by the Governor as he met with the Federal Republic of Russia's Ambassador in the Kingdom Mr. Viktor Smirnov today.The Governor reviewed with the Russian Ambassador a number of topics pertaining to the governorate's business of serving local and expatriate community in the governorate. The Russian Ambassador expressed his delight and admiration of the role of the Governorate and his readiness to facilitate extending of bridges of cooperation and coordination between the Capital Governorate in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the relevant bodies in the Republic of Russia.The Russian Ambassador congratulated Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on the occasion of the Royal ordinance appointing him as Governor of the Capital Governorate and wished the governor all success and good luck in carrying out the duties of his new assignment.
