Turkish President Abdullah Gul sent a speed recovery message to Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari following the strong earthquake which hit Iranian-Pakistani border on Tuesday. Gul, in his message, wished speed recovery for the ones who were injured in the earthquake. Gul also offered condolences to the relatives of victims, and said Turkey was ready to help if needed. An earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter Scale hit Iran's Zahedan city on Tuesday. The earthquake took place at 15.14 hours local time in Sistan and Balouchestan province in southeast of the country. The epicenter of the quake was located 81 kilometers away from the town of Saravan. At least 40 people were killed in the earthquake.
