
President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on Wednesday South Korean ambassador to Yemen, Park Kyu-ock, to bid farewell on the occasion of ending his term. The President praised efforts exerted by the ambassador in activating the good relations between the two friendly countries and strengthening the cooperation at the political, economic and investment levels. He pointed that despite the difficulty of the period the ambassador spent in Yemen, which was concurrent with the crisis and the challenges faced by the country, but that has not prevented him from carrying out his duties to the fullest. “Yemen is an open market before the Korean products and investments in various sectors, including the oil and gas sector, within the facilitates offered by Yemen in this field”, the president said. For his part, the Korean ambassador praised the level of cooperation and support he received during his tenure in Yemen, confirming his country’s support to the national dialogue in Yemen.
